Edit Event Groups

  1. Go to http://www.photostockplus.com/ and log into your account. If you are unsure how to log in, see Logging In.
  2. Click on the "Event Albums" tab in the left column. A list of your event albums will now show in the main window.
  3. Scroll to the event group you wish to edit and click on the “Edit” link found to the right.
  4. You can now edit any of the following fields:
    • Move to existing album:
      To keep your event group in the same location, leave this field as is. Use the dropdown menu to select an existing event group if you wish to change your event group’s location.

    • Album Title
      Edit this field if you wish to change the name of your event group.
    • Select Template
      Use this option to edit your event group’s template. Using a variety of templates is excellent for event shooters that cover a wide range of events, as it will allow you to give a more personalized feel to each and every event that you shoot.
      Click on the “Select” tab to open a new window where you may preview each available template. Click the thumbnail version of the template for a larger preview, and “Choose this template” to accept a new template.
    • Select main event photo
      Consider this the one image you’d like to showcase and use as a first impression of the event group. You will be able to choose the main event photo only after uploading images to your event album.
    • Feature event group on my homepage
      On your Photostockplus homepage (www.user_name.photostockplus.com), you can have multiple events and groups featured with a thumbnail in the ”Featured Events” section. Select this box to have this event group featured, or leave it unselected to have it simply added in the drop down menu.
    • Header Area
      The text entered will be displayed towards the top of the event group’s homepage, and on every internal page of the event making it a great tool to market yourself and your work. Use the space in whichever way you feel most appropriate.
      Using the small icons above the field, you can change the formatting of the text, add a Photostockplus banner to help introduce various products to potential buyers (large “B” icon), a scrolling Marquee to display eye catching messages (large “M” icon”), or even various images (picture frame icon).
      For those comfortable with basic coding and who want to add other html or flash elements, click on the “Toggle editor/raw to add HTML or flash code“ link below the field for complete control. Once in the manual HTML editor, you must toggle back to the regular editor once again for the changes to be applied.
    • Description
      The description entered will be displayed on your event group’s homepage. Use the space in whichever way you feel most appropriate, and which best ”sells” your album.

    • Personal Use – Notes
      This section is available for you to use for comments, reminders, or notes for the event group. This text will not be displayed on any public pages and can only be viewed through your personal Photostockplus account.
  5. Click on the “Save Event group” to have the new changes applied.
