Import Event Contacts
If you are shooting an event and collect a list of emails of potential clients, you can import this information to your Photostockplus account and assign them to that specific event after creating an event album for the shoot. The next time you export event contacts, they will be included in the spreadsheet.
This function is also a great tool to use as a back up of an existing email list you may have. In the event that you loose your list on your PC or MAC, you can export your event contacts at any time through your Photostockplus account and retrieve your complete list along with any addition names and emails collected through any of your online galleries. To import contacts, follow these steps:
- Go to http://www.photostockplus.com/ and log into your account. If you are unsure how to log in, see Logging In.
- In the left column, click on “Event Albums”. New options will now be available.
- Click on the ”Import Event Contacts” tab.
- You can now enter the required fields:
- Select Event
Use the scroll down menu to choose which event album you would like to assign your contacts to.
- Import Contacts
If you are comfortable using Excel or another spreadsheet software, you can create a .CSV file with your contacts. Use this example contacts .CSV file and simply replace the current names/emails with your new list.
Once your list is created, use the browse button next to the open field to select your .CSV file with your contacts.
You can manually enter contacts in the open box at the bottom of the page using the following format and separating each contact with a new line:
firstname.lastname@example.org, Joe Smith
email@example.com, Mary Smith
- Select Event
- Click on “Import Contacts”.
- Click on “OK”.
