Creating Coupons

Photostockplus Coupons take only a minute to create and are another way to drive new and repeat business to your storefront. Follow these steps to create a coupon or coupons:

1. Go to http://www.photostockplus.com/ and log into your account. If you are unsure how to log in, see ((Logging In)).
2. Click on the ”Marketing Tools” link in the left column. New options will now be available.
3. Click on the ”Coupons” link.
4. Click on the ”Create Coupon(s)” link found within the main window.
5. Enter the required fields:
   
   • Title
     Enter the desired title for the coupon(s) you wish to create. This field is for your reference only and will not be shown on the coupon(s).
   • Photographer Name
     Enter your name, or the name of the photographer you wish to be displayed at the top section of the coupon(s).
   • Photographer Website
     Enter the website url (example: johnsmith.photostockplus.com) you wish to be displayed on the coupon(s).
   • Photographer Email
     Enter an email which will be displayed at the bottom of the coupon(s).
   • Photographer Phone
     Enter a phone number which will be displayed at the bottom of the coupon(s) aside the email address.
   • Coupon Value
     Enter a dollar amount which will be applied to the coupon(s).
   • Minimum order amount to redeem coupon
     You can set a minimum amount a client's order must reach before they can apply / redeem the coupon. If you do not wish to have a minimum order amount, leave this field as $0.00.
   • Quantity
     Keep this value as ”1" to create a single coupon. If you wish to create multiple coupons with the same values, enter the number of coupons you wish to create, or enable the 'Unlimited Use' option to create a single code you can re-use for as many coupons as you'd like.
   • Unlimited Use
     Tick this option if you would like to create a single coupon code which you can re-use as often as you'd like as opposed to multiple unique coupon codes. This option can be a great fit for certain marketing strategies such as a coupon distribution at an event where printing and keeping track of hundreds of unique codes can be problematic. Using the unlimited use feature, you can freely print and distribute this coupon. Once the coupon code has been used on an order, you will receive a notification by email and through your account. This order will be processed once you have paid for the pending coupon(s). Any time additional orders are placed with the coupon code, you will receive these notifications, keeping you up to date on pending coupon payments to assure orders are processed for your clients in a timely fasion.
   • Note
     Enter notes pertaining to the coupon(s) created for your personal reference. This field will not be shown on the coupon(s).
6. Click the ”Save” button to create your coupon(s).

If you do not use the 'Unlimited Use' feature, each coupon you create is assigned a unique coupon code and can only be used once. If you wish to use the same format for numerous coupons, be sure to create multiple coupons by changing the value shown in the 'Quantity' field, or perhaps creating an 'Unlimted Use' coupon would be a better fit.

You will be able to select your coupon’s template when you choose to print the coupon.

Coupons are automatically activated once created however any orders placed using a coupon will remain as pending until you pay for the coupon used.
