Setting Marketing Actions

Marketing actions can only be applied to existing event albums in your account. If you have certain actions that you would like applied to all newly created event albums, visit our ((Setting Default Marketing Actions)) section for more information on how to automate this process.

Please note that stock albums do not support 'Marketing Actions' and that this is currently a Gold feature only available to Gold members.

  1. Go to and log into your account. If you are unsure how to log in, see ((Logging In)).
  2. Click on 'Event Albums' in the left column and select the event album you wish to apply marketing actions to.
  3. Click on the 'Marketing Actions' link in the left column within the event album's additional options.
  4. Fill in the required fields:
    • Action
Using the scroll down menu, select which type of action you would like to set.
    • Date
Click on the button to the right of the empty field to open a calendar and select the date you would like the action to be performed on.
    • Notice
When an action is selected, a default notice will show in this field. You can edit and personalize this notice as much as you'd like while staying within the character limit. This notice will be the text shown towards the top of the page of your event album and, if activated, also used as the text within the pop up notice. Use this space to make your visitors aware of your promotion and the upcoming changes.
    • Pop Up Option
Below the 'notice' section is a tick box allowing you to have the pop up notice active or not. When active, the notice will additionally be shown in a pop up format a maximum of once per day to anyone visiting your event album. This feature is highly recommended to assure your visitors are aware of the upcoming changes.
  5. Click on 'Add'.

Once you have added a marketing action to your event album, this action will be performed automatically. The pop up will show up until the marketing action is performed. You may add additional marketing actions for the same album to line up a series of actions as part of a much more impactful marketing strategy.

If you would like the same action or series of actions to be applied to all newly created event albums, you can automate this process using the Default Marketing Actions feature:
