Searching for Images

As a buyer, you have many options at your disposal when it comes to finding an image at photostockplus.com. Photographers assign up to 50 keywords for every image they upload, and associate each photo with a specific category.

This section will go through the steps of finding a picture.

  1. Go to http://www.photostockplus.com/ and log into your account. If you are unsure how to log in, see Logging In.
  2. Click the “Search” link found near the top of the page.
    • Search by Photo:
Enter a search term into the search field and click “Search”. You can also narrow down your results by selecting a category and/or pricing range from the drop down menus provided.
    • Search by Photographer:
If you know the name of a specific Photostockplus.com photographer, click “Photographers” and then enter the person’s first and last name into their respective fields and click “Search”
    • Browse Categories:
Click on a desired category below the search box to bring up all images associated with that category.

While searching, you can add images to your Favorites to quickly return to them at a later time by clicking on the ”Add Favorites” link beneath the desired image.

Favorites require you to have a guest account. After adding an image, it will prompt you to create a guest account using a username and email. Keep this information handy for the next time you visit Photostockplus and to keep a list of your favourite images.

To later view these images, click on the “Favorites” link towards the top of the page.

If you were given an invitation to a photographer’s Photostockplus homepage, you may also find images through their storefront while browsing through their site.
